Hey Bill how much did those run you?
|
I called and ended up chatting with Erik for like 45 min. Normally they are $130 per set, times three sets. He hooked me up for something like $300 plus actual shipping or maybe just slightly more, but he definately cut me a break.
That's why I suggest mentioning my name. The more business he sees from the same places/sources.. hopefully the prices stay or get better.
There are 4 lateral arms and 2 trailing arms. Two to a set gives you three total.
Those look nice. I was thinking about BMR but those look really good too..
I bought the AGX's for my car and am really disappointed. Right rear went bad about 3 months after install, replaced under warranty, lost adjust-ability of them after about 6 months, all settings are the same now and as time went on, shocks got softer and softer. A year after install and they feel exactly as the oem units I replaced. My opinion, they are not worth the money, looking for options to replace them again. I've heard good things about the bilstein's, anybody running with these? Like to get feed back on them. I heard Koni made some that would fit our cars for a while too, not sure if they still do or not?
I find it very awkward that your AGX did that. From the users i talked to they got praised and nothing else, especially when compared to stock and GR2's. I think u had a lemon.
That is indeed odd for AGX's.
Glad he tossed you a discount on the arms. When they did my set he mentioned he did them differently than before and the picture on the website was supposedly of the arms I have on the car to update it.
I'm very pleased overall with them and the changes I've made to the car.
Just an update to my post above, ordered my lateral arms and trailing arms last week. He did do a nice job with these. Here's my pics. Also the non adjustable arms run about a $100, not $130...
oooh purty
