about 2 weeks ago i noticed a small popping noise that at first sounded like a wire or something plastic bouncing around. now every time i corner hit the gas hit, the brakes, or hit big bumps i get this same noise but a lot louder. what could it be i looked and i didn't see anything loose. ive heard motor mount and ive heard strut. i haven't had it looked at yet.

I got the same thing. I looked at the strut mounts. The rubber seems really soft. I have new shocks all the way around so I know it's not that. I bounced the front end up and down and noticed the strut center rod and cap spreading apart vertically from the rubber. I think that Timmsgtp is right.

I will let you guys know this weekend.

OK, got the shock mounts replaced, did both tie rod ends, and right side trans axle. So far Smooooooth!. I'll really know on this 2 hour drive I will be doing tomorrow.

alright so i feel pretty stupid. turns out the popping noise was the support bar over the battery. we took it off to put on the pulley and we didn't tighten it all the way so when my motor moved it would pop. Glad it was something simple. kinda stupid on my part.
