Replacing Brake pads on my 2006 GT. Just want to know if the front caliper bolts with the rubber bushings on the end go in the top or bottom position?
I also wanted to know if the disc pads with the wear sensor go to the inside or outside of the caliper?

the guide pins go in the caliper not the bracket (they go in the one with the boot)

To the other question- inside of rotor (caliper) closest to spring

There's too pins that slide into the caliper and the rubber conects them. Then you screw the caliper bolts into the pin when the caliper is installed.

It doesnt matter which side the pins go in.
98 GTP-Mods? Yeah, lots of them

I know the caliper bolts go into the caliper. The question is that both bolts are different. One is machined on the end for a bushing, the other is not. I want to know if the machined bolt with the bushing goes in the top position on the caliper or if it goes in the bottom.

My '98 has identical top and bottom caliper pins (both fit into rubber bushings).

When you removed them, it's possible that the rubber boot stuck to the pin on one and not the other (this has happened to me before).

If your bolts are different, it would be simplest to try the non machined one on both top and bottom. The rubber bushing should only allow it to go in either one of the other.
