couple of questions. My trailing arm on one side is bent. Does anyone know the dimensions of said trailing arm. A hole to hole measurement is what I am looking for. What diameter is the bolt that holds the trailing arm on.

Do they make poly inserts for the bushings on the trailing arm?

I will just build my own trailing arms, pretty easy to do just need to source some poly bushings or get some rubber replacements

... think you can make better ones than UMI or BMR? Anyway, those would be good companies to contact for parts.

Actually yes I build custom suspensions on a regular basis. They are for 4x4s but many of the principles interchange. I can also build them much cheaper

I probably will just measure the non bent one just wondering if anyone had the dimensions then I could just build them and have them on and off in an hour or so

two arms in a hour?? ok

anyways. No one makes poly replacements. So you will probably have to re use the stock rubber ones.

I will probably just measure the hole and use some poly bushings with the right size bolt hole or make a bushing so they fit tight.

I haven't looked really close at these trailing arms but I have worked on plenty of these types of cars and the arms don't take very long at all to switch, like I said unless there is something weird on this car

Yeah, im not saying its impossible. From just looking at them. They dont seem to hard to make, but there's going to be a lot of trail and error.

With the GMPP bars being like $20. I dont see the point.
The BMR and UMI ones are great and look great. I just think there overkill..
