ok so i have been having alot of noise from my car the past few months i had the control arm bushings both go on me, at seperate times about a month apart.

the front left strut mount go when tried to replace, found the spring was broken and the strut was finished. so i decided to replace the front and rear suspension all around and drop the car a bit.

Now i still have a noise dont know what the heck it is. it is a kind of tock tock coming from the front only occasionally when i hit bumps. I have also another noise coming from the front only when the car is cold and i turn the wheel while stationary or moving very slow. sounds like its coming from the strut mounts but they are brand new.

what else could i check? front suspension is 100% new exept for the sway bar but it wouldnt cause a noise like this.

I am getting so annoyed with having problem after problem with this car but i love it too much to get rid of it!

Check the steering rack mounting bolts, mine were loose on my car making a knock noise on turns, but not all the times. I just put a socket on them and tightend them up, 18mm I think is the size.

The steering rack is behind the transmission.
