I bought a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix GT with 55,000 miles on it.. I have this annoying vibration felt in the steering wheel and a few other symptoms.

    1. Small Pop noise when going from Park to Reverse
    2. Vibration in Steering wheel Felt at all speeds, I thought it was coming from the drivers side
    3. If I am on an incline put car in Reverse and hit the Gas, I feel a thump, which I think is coming from my Downpipe hitting the body.

    Sofar I replaced

    1. Drivers Side Wheel Bearing
    2. Drivers Side Half Shaft
    3. Switched tires from Front to Rear
    4. Lubed Steering shaft, got rid of my turning thump

I am trying to figure out if itd my Motor Mount or my Ball joints and Bushings.

HELP, I don't Feel like spending anymore money without a good source of where the problem is...

My traction control sometimes goes on randomly when turning left, and makes the steeringwheel vibrate. I dont know if its the same thing, but could be.

vibration sounds 2 me like balance on tires or pressure is off on tires! Is your car supercharged? If so I had the same prob while taking my car out of park it was the torque strut mount aka dog bones!! Hope this helps

Check out your motor and tranny mounts for the popping. They are filled with fluid stock so they can look fine but actually be shot. I imagine that that will fix a couple of your problems. Buy the solid rubber mounts, they're cheap and you won't notice the difference.

For the steering vibration is it just a vibration or does the wheel wobble a little as well?

    1. Small Pop noise when going from Park to Reverse
= bad motor mount or downpipe hitting sway bar(flip sway bar in this case)

    2. Vibration in Steering wheel Felt at all speeds, I thought it was coming from the drivers side
= possibly a bad wheel bearing

    3. If I am on an incline put car in Reverse and hit the Gas, I feel a thump, which I think is coming from my Downpipe hitting the body.
    = same as number 1

if moveing and you hear the POP i would say control arm bushings but idk if that is the case
