Pulsing brakes

I have noticed on hard Deceleration a slight pulsing in the brakes. Not a big deal, but I probably need to fix it. Here are the details 05 GTP 83K miles. GM replaced the front rotors and pads at 30K miles under warranty. They said the rotors were warped. OEM replacement parts.

I plan on replacing front and back. Do you think that the problems are the front brakes or back ones? It seems hard for me to believe that the front rotors would warp in just 30K miles again!

its possible that they could have. Sometimes the rear brakes will be warped and it will feel like it is coming from the front of the car.

I just saw that my RR rotor has lines in it from being warped. I will be replaceing both rears sometime this summer.

Generally, you will feel front brake pulsation more in the steering wheel and rear brake pulsation more in the seat. It is definitely possible to need to the brakes after 30K. I have owned several GM's and have never been impressed with the stock pads and rotors.

if the rotors are ACTUALLY warping then they're **** and never get them again, try rebedding your pads first.

You should be able to have the rotors remachined and put new pads on. Most likely your fronts are warped.

take off your rotors and have them turned. if you want, you can replace the pads as well. I had the same problem, the rotors measured fine, but i had them turned anyway and it fixed the issue.

This is because you exceeded the heat range of your pads.

If you just rebedded them again it would have only cost you time and gas.
