07 GXP Front Brakes

Stripped and had to break and remove the Star screws on the front rotors of my GXP. Guy at the auto store said they werent important and since new rotors didnt come with it; I left them off...

Thoughts? Are the Star screws worth replacing?? Or not?

What are they there for?

They literally have no purpose other than holding the rotor on while going down the assembly line before the calipers are installed at the factory. Don't worry about em.

Lol, just did the same thing last week when I swapped out my rotors, those screws are more trouble than they're worth.
