I will be getting some new struts in the future, but I wanted some opinions from personal experience.

I was going to get KYB GR2s, but reviews say they leak, rattle, and go bad fairly quick. So, just wanting some more opinions on those. I would be using stock springs with those.

My other option is Monroe Senstracs. If i did these, I was thinking about doing the Pre-assembled ones because they come with new strut mounts and springs. However, my buddy said he had them and they raised his ride height. I am thinking this was because they hadn't settled yet?

Going further on the Monroe Senatracs, I was also thinking about just purchasing the non-pressambled struts and maybe putting some mild drop lowering springs on them. How do these struts handle with lowering springs, and what springs offer a drop where I don't have to buy mount spacers or shorter dogbones?

    thats all

I heard nothing but bad things about putting lowering springs on a monroe strut. Besides, seriously? Spend money on quick-struts and put lowering springs? Waste of money.

no sturt other then the KYB AGX works with lowering springs.

The GR2 is a great stock replacment on stock springs.
The Monroes are ALRIGHT, but soft from what I hear. Again not made for lowering springs.
