Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!

and here's your spacers:
ZZ Performance
they're both zzp, you might be able to find them somewhere else if you feel like putting in the time

THey're just subframe washers.
you can get them for teh cheap from yards if the cars are in the air.
or be lazy.
actually the talked about 'anti-pogo' washers go on the upper strut mount.

but they are the frame washers.
ROC has the part numbers IIRC
Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!

Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!
how low can i go on 17's with 225/45 tires?
Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!
225/55r17 is the correct size if you want 225's.
Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!
well 225/45/17 is what im gonna have to work with. im trading spartans gtx's for my 20's and thats what tires are on them.
Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!
please change the tires to the right size...even being lowered its going to look stupid...
but, you can probably go as low as you want because of the offset on the gtx wheels.
Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!
No wonder his car looked like a super 4x4.... the tires were way too short.
Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!
cool... thanks guys.. guess ill just sell the tires after i get the rims.
Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!

Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!

a lot of people run only front springs. however, youre not taking care of the problem. your rear is sagging because of worn out springs. if you swapped a whole set of springs it will even out the car just fine because they are new.

Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!

Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!
One thing I would add to this as it is interesting is could you add ball park pricing? If you know it that is just reading through it was nice but not seeing prices always makes me want to do something :p haha just a thought bio but great thread anything tires and dropping your the man
Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!
the problem with putting prices up is that prices always change and if youre doing it right you shouldnt be trying to do it on a budget as well.

I understand but the prices up front stop me from looking at it and deciding to spend the money :p.. Anytime I start looking seriously and shopping around I usually spend the money :( And I hate spending money
Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!
not my problem. just sayin.
Re: Want to lower your car? Look in here!!
bilstein B6 HD's are well over a grand yet you COULD lower your car on stock shocks.
Talked to a local who did that, says it rides fine.
