I was going to run to the j-yard and pick up the caliper brackets, so I can do the C5/ F body brake upgrade. Does it matter what year camaro firebird? I do not have any 98-02 in my local yard, just a bunch of older v6 f bodys can I use those?
There is no replacement for displacement........unless you have a supercharger or turbo

2000 Bright Red GTP Coupe GXP axle back, GMPP sway bar, NGK TR6, 180 stat. (Uninstalled Aeroforce Interceptor, DHP PCM, FWI, Gen V on the way) and still no pulley in sight.

You need brackets from a V8 98-02 model year.

Yeah I just looked on ebay, craigslist, no such luck I will check the junkyard again. So I plan on getting the caliper brackets from the junkyard, and the calipers I may want to switch to the c5 calipers. Got nice rotors, and put slap everything together

I think you could also use the 06 and up calipers from the monte carlo as they are also a dual piston design.

Yes you can, but there different then the F-body.
You will need 06 monte/impala pads and rotors.
