Just found out my rear shock towers are almost rotted through. Does anyone know where I can get new panels from? If I can find them, I plan to do a write up on how to replace them.

I could cut out some pieces from the boneyard, but they will probably be rusty too.

Any help would be appreciated. thanks

They average about $450 each from dealer, must be welded in, and may require additional panels. But these are the body panels that the struts mount to.

HAve you checked other rust prone areas of the car for damage?
It would be a bummer to fix one spot only to find more rust
and then decide that maybe it is not safe to drive.
