    Hey boys and girls, my ass end rattles when going over speed bumps, at low speed when all should be quiet, any ideas?? (talking about my 04 grand prix gt, by the way!!)

    I got rid of my 'ass rattle' by removing everything in the spare tire compartment.

    probably an old top plate.. I had one of mine replaced in my 04 a couple months back.. roads suck in montreal

    had a customer with an 04 grand prix and it was the rear sway bar, needs new bushings and or sway bar links.
    2000 Daytona 500 GTP. fender well intake K&N, 180 tstat, flipped dog bones, strut2strut brace, sd headers coated n wrapped, 3in dp, 3.25 pulley, pcm tune, led tails, angel eye halos w 100 watt h1s, p&p heads, p&p m90, yella terra alum roller rockers, head studs, 8mm wires, al104s, 2007 l26, 329s hd diff, alum sub frame

    I would start with the rear sway bar to frame bushings... usually cheapest between 10-20 dollars for the pair. If that doesnt cure it then my best guess is the rear sway bar links

    We had this problem a while back and had to replace the rear sway bar. Good luck, hope its that since its a easy cheap fix.

    I have a slight squeak in the rear too and it seems that a screw has worn its self loose from the rear bumper. I just always forget to get a replacement for it unless i'm driving it. Check them out, you never know it could be something simple.
