Don't know which ones are the "best", but have heard good things about GMPP ones. You can find them on ebay, I just bought front/rear from Hamilton Chevrolet... You might want to check your local dealer too...

As far as alignment, you won't have to get it realigned just for the sway bar installation..

you can get the GMPP kit online from GMPartsDirect.com the cheapest. I hear great things about the new Progress front sway bar from ZZP...but it's expensive.
01 GT special ed.: SD hood, GMPP kit, poly sway bushings, Eibachs/Gabriel Ultras, Eagle GTs, ZZP anti-pogo, ZZP short dogbones, ZZP poly trans, ZZP PCM, ZZP HV TB, ZZP HV3, P&P LIM, 4" FWI, 3" DP, custom exhaust, pwdr-coated Trans Am brakes, NGK iridiums, Mobil1 Syn fluids, stage 2 voltage booster, BIG 3, real loud stereo...

GMPP is probably the most cost effective. if youre looking for HUGE bars then look for speedbuilt or BMR.

To answer the second part of your question: NO! you do not have to get the car re-aligned if you change the sway bars.
