Like the title says I have a vibration at highway speeds, it kind of comes and goes though and sort of is effected by the amount of gas I give it. Also when I hit the brakes it does vibrate but if I hit them harder it kind of lessens the vibrations. I think its the rotors being warped but before I go out and buy some I'd like to see if there are any other things I should look for.

well its more the front end of the car than the whole thing. But its enough to where thing inside the car will rattle or you can visually see the steering wheel shaking back and forth. It seemed to have come about when I took the tires off and put snow tires on, then I have taken the snow tires off and put regular tires back on and the problem is still there. Everything is seated just fine I double checked that when I put them back on.

Is your car lowered? Vibrating at highway speeds and hard acceleration are issues lowered cars have to deal with. Cradle spacers or shorter dog bone mounts cure the problems for us that are lower. If you're at stock height, more than likely your motor mounts are just shot!

I am not lowered, my motor mounts are fine its only on the highway that it does it and it doesn't do it under hard acceleration.

CV axles maybe? It could also be that your tires are way out of balance/alignment.

drive side axle was just replaced, pass was inspected and was fine, alignment is fine just had that done. I'll have the tires checked, might even swap fronts to back just to be sure. I really doubt the motor mounts but is there any way to check them and also how hard to replace?

I have the same problem. i just got back from my maechanic and he told me that one of my rotors is warped. So I guess now is the time to do that 12" upgrade.

wish I had the money to do the 12" F body upgrade but not yet. Other things need to be paid. So for now its going to be cheap rotors and pads until I can save for that upgrade.

Oh those tires better not have. They are practicly brand new. maybe a year old and I got the car about 5-6 months ago. They have great tread left on them and I don't do a lot of burn outs. (maybe 10 sense I've had it and none were huge) I'll have them checked and if possible swap from to back. I put on new rotors and pads as the ones on there were shot and probably warped, I haven't been able to take it for a drive as I tried to do my down pipe and lucky me broke a bolt off in the manifold, so off to the shop it goes on monday hopefully to fix the issue.

well rotors and pads got rid of most of the vibration from what I can tell. I need to swap the tires front to back as I never got the time this weekend with all the crap thats been going on with this down pipe issue lol.

You said it went away when you changed the tires?
I'm having the same problem, turn's out it's from uneven wear on the fronts.

Source of my vibration at highway speeds was very unbalanced tires. They were starting to wear unevenly but it made a world of difference after getting them balanced. I changed the front rotors and pads a couple hours afterwards and it didn't really change anything..

The only time I've encountered problems with vibrating when I was acceleration or braking was my wheel bearings. I replaced the Hub Assembly and all was swell. The shaking in the steering wheel would indicate that it is a front bearing vs a shake in your body/seats would lean more towards the rear hubs. I'm not an expert, just speaking from my experience... correct me if I'm wrong : ).

In my situation, getting the tires balanced actually got rid of steering wheel and passenger seat vibration. I was this close to replacing my hubs before I talked myself into running by the mechanic..
