Is it possible to just upgrade me calipers to dual piston? If so how and what do I need? I don't mind the rotor size I have now, I know bigger is better here, but I just want the calipers!

For what you will have to spend on calipers it would be silly not to finish the upgrade.
you wouldn't be able to use your front 10.9" stock rotors with f-body calipers![]()
There is no way you can just put dual calipers on you're car and that's it. The only ones that will fit are f-body's. Wich also require F-body bracket's....wich also require them to be drilled and tapped.
That along with the purchase of some new rotor's for the F-body cars.
The kit's that I sell are a simple bolt on solution to far better braking. You will not belive the difference. It's definetly worth every penny. And you can save a little money by buying with me since I have the cheapest kit's around.About 50 bucks cheaper to be exact.
If you're intrested or have any other questions be sure to ask. I'd be more than happy to help
Here is a thread about using calipers from an 06+ monte carlo SS/impala SS. Just another option.

Thanks guys I just bought 4 cross drilled rotors and some ceramic pads from some guy in Canada for $200 and i need brakes bad, I saw the post about the F-body brakes the day after I purchased so I will have to stick these out until the pads run out, but you can bet you A$$ I'll be upgrading next time around.
right here-------> $185 shipped eBay Motors: 97 PONTIAC GRAND PRIX SE GT GTP Drilled Rotors Pads F+R (item 280292396438 end time Apr-05-09 23:24:35 PDT)
Ahhh.... The good old silverstone brake companay. Should have known.
After a quick google search you will learn the following:
One customer got a box of junk magazines instead of his rotors and pads
One customers left front brake rotor exploded and he totaled his car.
One customer had to drill out the stud holes on his rotor because they would not fit on his vehicle.
But yeah the're a good price.![]()
for a cheap upgrade just get the caliper brackets from the new impalas and run the 11.9" rotors and get some good pads. that is all ive done and it stops like crazy compared to stock brakes.
parker, what kind of rotors do you sell with your stuff? just for future reference if i need another set. my current pads are eating my rotors for lunch everyday and i have a feeling they are going to go very fast.
