R1 makes brake pads?????? I am partial to PosiQuiet pads, plus they cost almost half what the hawks costs.

Post a link to them. I bet they probably rebox another company's brake pads under their name.

Our premium, semi metallic with Kevlar formulation brake pads combine durability with solid performance for worry free stopping. This semi-metallic material is formulated to provide economy, medium to high level friction. While it remains disc rotor friendly, it has low wear rate, minimal noise and low dust characteristics.
Personally I would not go with those. You want TRUE ceramic brake pads. Trust me! Semi-metallic is gonna leave dust all your rims. I have the Posi Quiet Ceramic pads and they barely dust the rim if at all.

Just my thought on that. Or you can make sure they, R1, gives you their ceramic version and NOT the semi-metallic listed. I find it odd the ad says it includes Ceramic pads, but the body of the ad reads semi-metallic. I would be wary of that.
