Last summer my stock rotors developed a nasty warp and some cracks from too much heat. Before I changed out the rotors I had driven pretty hard on a tight twisty highway.

I thought about buying some slotted and/or slotted drilled rotors, but I didn't think I would like the noise they made.

I bought some plain Brembo rotors and Hawk HPS pads. I'd never heard of Hawk pads before, but they have some pretty great reviews.

I also painted the calipers red for a gain of 22.5 WHP.

This combo of brakes is very nice. They are smooth, quiet, low dusting and hook up better than stock cold. They do work better when hot, it actually makes me a little dizzy to stop that fast.

Pad wear-in/break-in was easy. A couple stops from 25-30mph and then some hard stops from 45mph. They were smoking a lot at the end, but still gripped great.

Over all, I'm very happy with them. I will use the same on the rears also, including the red caliper paint.
