I need to order replacement parking brake cables but I'm seeing a variance in length based on which suspension package my particular car has, but I'm not entirely sure how to find that bit of info. My mechanic took the seized cables out about a month ago and likely tossed them, so I won't be able to measure the old ones.

Well, FE4 is GXP only. 07GT would be supercharged right? So it wouldn't likely have the FE1 which go on the base models.

I bet the part number is exactly the same for each suspension package. GM is not that stupid, they wouldn't make 3 different parking brake cable lengths just because one has a different strut in it.

There was 2 different part numbers and lengths when I bought mine, but I'm almost %100 sure the GXP/FE4 was the different one because I had FE2s and now FE3s and it was the same.

FE 1,FE 2, and FE 3 all have the same size. GXP is the one that is different

I opened the trunk but didn't see a single sticker anywhere.

gxp rear brakes have the "in hat" parking brake like the earlier cars. the CompG rears have the parking brake arm off the caliper.

to put the gxp rears on my 04 comp G I had to swap on the early style rear knuckles and parking brake cables.

cG had a "barrel" terminator on the cable for the caliper arm, the early/gxp cables have a loop that fits over the arm in the backing plate bottom.
