Hey guys trying to beef up suspension a little. Obviously the addco bar is better but my question is it really worth the extra 140$ish over the gmpp bar. I'm not autocrossing the car or anything but would like a good bump over stock as far as handling goes. Thanks guys.

I depends on what you want. The car does noticeable handle better with the Addco over the GMPP. I've had all three Stock<GMPP; GMPP<Addco. But in the end don't expect the car to handle any better than a Nose heavy FWD car. Also if you go for the addco make sure to use lock-tite on the end link studs. As the Addco is thicker there is less stud (moog endlinks) to crank on, so the nuts backed out and bent the studs.

Well is the gmpp stuff a noticeable improvement over stock?

Yup. It is noticeable, but then the Addco would feel like a huge jump over stock. :P

Dang your making this hard! The only thing is if I went with the gmpp kit I could also afford to get front and rear stb's

GM Part number: 12498648, 12498642, 12498643. Add some Don Rome brackets and you will be good to go. That set is the best performance per $ in my opinion.

Don Rome brackets are overpriced, I made my own for 15 bucks.

I like making my own stuff, though...

If I had to pick one to do first I'm assuming the sway bars are going to make more of a difference then the stb's right?

Stb's make a big difference, IMO... but the sways will probably be a bigger improvement, especially with poly bushings.

Go with the Dorman solid bar up front and thee Adco bar for the rear. GMPP strut tower braces are ok with the Don Rom brackets. The brackets come with the hardware and DR is a great seller. Stands by his product, I have his diagonal braces as well and he refinished them pretty much for cost of shipping as I've had them a Long time and they needed it. In addition, you'll want new control arms (bushings, but easier to just replace whole unit), and BMR rear lateral arms. You do all this and you'll begin to like the handling a bit : ) new struts help too, the KYB Quick Struts are fine, top it all off with Energy Suspension Poly bushings in everything.

Now you may be thinking gee I don't need all that, but yeah, you do. Suspension is a funny thing, it's gradual when it diminishes, replace just a piece here or there, you won't notice a huge difference. So if you want to feel and enjoy what fixing up your suspension will do for you, save up and do it all at once and you'll realize the fruit of your efforts.
    : )

    Good Luck!
