my 2004 GPGT has the ABS and trac light on, my reader said its the right front sensor. If I disconnect the ABS sensor can I test it with a multimeter or does it need a power source? if so what kind of reading should I get. i just want to try and figure out of its the sensor or the harness that needs replacing.

Use ohms. No need for power. Just go between the two leads and rotate the tire a bit. It's often the sensor in the hub or the wiring leading to it.
I drink..so consider that when reading my posts.
