Hello all, new to the forum. I've done a bit of searching, but can't seem to find much in the way of straightforward info on getting replacement struts for the GXP models. I understand the Bilstein doesn't make the struts anymore, and they are all but unobtainium. This is just a daily driver w/120K on the clock, but the car needs front and rear struts soon. I have seen bits and pieces of different options, but can't seem to iron out what applies to the 07 GXP vs base GP's or prior 97-03 models. Ideally I'd like to avoid going to Monroe replacements as I don't want to lose the sportiness of the suspension, but I'm also not willing to drop $1K to put new equipment on all 4 corners.

I don't think I need new springs, so what options do I have? Any opinions on KYB vs Monroe vs ACDelco?

I have read something about swapping out the sway bar in order to be able to utilize different struts, but I'm not sure how involved that will be. I have also seen talk of switching over to the FE4 components (which may be the same thing as swapping out the sway bar), but again I'm not sure what parts much be swapped.

All in all, if you guys could show the way to a parts list or similar, I'd be grateful. Otherwise, just tell me to GTFO lol.

Awesome, I didn't make the connection in my search attempts that the ACDelco's were rebadged Bilsteins. That lessens the blow to the wallet a good bit. While we're on the subject, are there any preferred suppliers out there who have a polyurethane bushing kit to replace all of the sway/torsion links and a-arms? If I'm going to be in there replacing struts, I figured I may as well put new bushings and such on the contact points. If the only option is buying all new suspension components I'll just let it slide.
