I am having issues with my Brake Light coming on on my dash and DIC. My ABS and traction control off lights are on which I believe to be due to a bad front left wheel speed sensor but since the hub is not bad I'm not paying 100 bucks for a new one. But I am trying to figure out why the Service Brake System light is coming on. It comes on after driving 1/8 to 3/4 of a mile depending on how the car feels I guess. So what can go wrong in the brake system to trigger this light? What should I be checking or looking at?

check the fluid level in the master, if its real low the brake light comes on.

also comes on when the e brake is on. maybe the pedals switch is acting up. dont know if you use it or not.

Sorry I should have specified that it's an 05 GP. Not low brake fluid I don't think because that has it's own light that says low. Parking brake light also is different. I also am getting a message on the DIC that says service brake system

check the fluid. they all have a low fluid sensor that will turn on the brake light, its telling you to stop driving it really.

or you got more abs codes then you know about. cause a abs code can set the brake light too.
