Should I stick with the stock 6x9 in the rear or go with component speakers I wanted to get kicker to match the rest of the system and im currently running component speakers in the front and 4 channel amp and the 3 way coaxial spakers for the rear would there be a major sound difference switching to component for the rears

I don't think you'd see a huge difference because most of what you hear when driving is the front speakers anyway. If they're not blown I'd just leave them, unless you've got some cash you want to spend... Then why the hell not.

Do you have a sub? Those 6x9's are probably driving most of your bass if you don't, and you'll probably lose a lot of it with aftermarket ones.

Well, considering most of the music should come from the front, I would upgrade to a low level 6x9 of your choice and a subwoofer. That would give you the best bang for the buck.

Depending on what kind of kickers they are, that could be a pretty good deal. Just a little comparison. That does up to 600w rms as well

Kickers are ok if you aren't looking for anything fancy. If you just want some bang in the trunk, I would do it.

Yea that's 600 RMS. When you buy subs that say 1000w peak or max or whatever, you usually only get about half really. So if you get those 1200W, I'd get an amp that's a little over 600 RMS to go with it.

The RMS number is what you need to pay attention to because it is the realistic amount of wattage that the sub will handle on a normal playing basis. So the DC 102's will handle 150 watts each, or 300 for the pair. They will make some noise, but if the DCWS102's are not much more money, I would go with them for double the RMS power. At the end of the day though, sound and output is going to be defined based on box volume, ported or solid box, how the system is wired and the amp pushing the subs. Don't get hung up on just RMS numbers alone. All the details done right can make a smaller wattage system sound like a high end monster.

I'd go for 2 12's if you can get some for around the same price. That box looks pretty small and 2 10's just wouldn't do it for me unless they had some pretty high rms numbers and a different brand. You might think about getting a couple of 12's and a pro box if you can find one around you. Those boxes are pretty good but are kind of big so there's a trade off for it. Better sound but less trunk space. It's all just personal preference though.

Never mind... I opened the links you provided.... that amp will run that box just fine. Kicker usually underrates their amps so it will push a little more power than rated. In my opinion I think it will sound fine. I think kicker makes decent stuff... it isn't the best but certainly is not the worst.
