i paid 50 for a single 12 inch sub woofer, 30 iirc for the box. another 30 for the line level out. i just added a sub to the stock radio.

i got my amp for free, so no idea on cost there. installed it my self. its very easy really.

That question is going to get you a variety of answers. You could spend like Scotty($110) or you could go all out and spend thousands for sub/box/amp/install. It all depends on what you are willing to spend. Different brands cost different amounts. I myself spent $150 for an Alpine sub another $100 for the amp and another $150 for a custom made box. So you see the possibilities are endless. I am sure you will get any numerous amount of responses with numerous amounts of cost. So it all depends on what you want to pay for what you want it to sound like. Go to crutchfield.com and look and see what they have and it will get you in the ballpark of what you want to spend.

    crutchcrap over priced

professional install for WHAT? To run 1 wire from the battery and rcas/turn on from the headunit then a ground? come on now

Price is subject to what you want, little thump, block rocker to about 10 different things inbetween, dual setups are a waste of money anyway with technology these days.

my brothers got another 4 ch amp he said i can have. its been rotting in a box for years. a few more line level things and i could have the whole enchilada amp'ed lol

free amps are what even made me do a sub in the first place.

i see a lot of subs and amps for sale on Cl. but id want to hear that run for a good 1/2 hour before buying it.
