Found a fix for this. Don't know if it has been documented as of yet.

    The problems with 3 vehicles:

2004 GTO - When I placed the LED into the dome maps they work great as long as the door was open, RAPs on, the car was running or key was in acc. position. Once the RAP's when out the bulbs were dimly lit, like 5%.

Cavalier & Cobalt - When I placed LED's into the map lights the bulbs would still light up just a little. I would say 5%. So I had to take one out and put in a regular bulb.

The solution I tried was to order Can Bus LED and they worked. The balt has 2 in the map lights and they don't stay on. In the GTP all of the lights work perfectly now.

Has anyone tried the Can Bus for the turn signals to eliminate the hyper flash? I am going to order a set and try them.

All my interior lights are LED. When I pull the "dome light" fuse to do some work, some of the interior LED's will stay on dimly.

    I hate how LED's backfeed.

The can bus eliminates this. I will see if it works with the hyper flash very soon.

Funny thing.....I installed a 6" LED strip in my glovebox the other day......

    Off isn't quite off:

Read online about a fix, "1k ohm 1/2w resistor in parallel to the socket". Anybody tried this?

Also read that a guy had a house LED bulb disconnected and it was lightly glowing for months. ?!?

only problem ive had is that sometimes one of my domelights wont light up (random each time) so i pull it out and reverse it and then it works, i wish they would just choose a direction they like. actualy now that i think of it ive noticed mine stay on dimmily at times

That is strange, cuz led's are polarity sensitive.

Put in the can bus turn signal bulbs in the cobalt and they work. No hyper-flash. Will be ordering a set for the front. Next I will try them in the GTP.
