So I came across a problem and I swear I read about a sensor being the culprit before but I can't find that same info again. When my headlights are on at night, both turn signals on the dash are lit up all the time. When the headlights are off and I hit the turn signal, the HVAC control panel flashes with the turn signals.

    Help!

Forgot to mention that the PO said this problem started when he installed HIDs on the car.

My guess is the the ballasts are wired together into the turn signal circuit, shorting them together.

I wouldn't even know the first place to start looking to be honest. I have never installed a set of HIDs myself before, never really had the desire.
