okay so I just installed a set of HID's in my 08 base. they look awesome at night. my issue is that during the day when the drl's are supposed to be on i get this wierd buzzing noise coming from under the hood. when I purchased the HID's I also purchased and installed the relay kit is the kit gets direct power from the battery and only is supposed to use the factory harness as a switch. the lights never come on when in DRL mode. can someone tell me what I did wrong?? please help..

Most likely, the DRL lower brightness is driven by a PWM (pulse width modulation) circuit that is chattering the relays. This is a BAD thing. You'll need to completely disable the DRL function or you WILL damage your relays and ballasts. IIRC, the DRL control module handles all the headlamp functions, so this will be no easy task. You may have to go all the way back to the headlamp switch and tap the "headlamps on" trigger directly to enable your relays under the hood, and completely ignore the stock headlamp connectors.

Until you get this resolved, I HIGHLY recommend that you remove your HID and relay kit for the time being.
    The GPs are long gone...

I would remove the relay kit and just get some black electrical tape and cover the light sensor on the dash. It will make your car think that its always night so the lights are always on. then you dont have to worry about the daytime lighting.

well they by passed the light sensor on the dash to where my day light running lights run in the day with out my fogs and they warranty there work so if any screw up happens its up to them to fix it when your running six convertors some relays aint just gonna do the job
