    Hey

Here's my deal, I had a XIA-D01 to add aux to my car, but it fried.

Wanting to replace it with either a GM-24 or GM-12. But what I am not sure is, which is the right one, one is for xm or remote changer, the other isn't.

Car is a 2004 comp-g with monsoon, but there's no xm unit in the trunk, not that I am aware of.

Which is the right one and the cheapest?

I used gm12 I have xm and monsoon. Not sure what you mean by xm unit. Mine just shows the option when clicking through the band options.
