Are 2 12" alpines plus a 600 amp worth 80$? Also how hard is it to install?

If they are in good shape, hell yes.

    What brand/model is the amp?

If you've never installed an amp/sub before, it's hard. Once you know what you're doing, it's easy peasy

amp install kits start around 20 bucks. for cheap ones. of course it goes up from there.

most come with rca cables, remote wire, and power lead with a inline fuse and a ground cable.

Yeah this one has absolutely 0 wiring. I'm thinking just replacing the door ones would be up my alley but would I still have to buy an amp?

not sure how you would go about dealing with a bose. if its got a amp already it may be a issue. if not. you could just use it as a sub and amp. and leave the stock system alone. you use a line level off the rear speaker to the amp.

If you're expecting bass from those 12 inchers, yes. You will need an amp.

See if you can go online and find an installation manual for the amp you're looking at. It'll tell you what size power cables you'll need to feed the amp. If it's a 600 amp max output total, you'll need either 8 gauge or 10 guage wire. If it's 600 amps per channel RMS, you're into 4 guage or larger territory. Regardless, get good connectors and make sure your amp's wiring has a separate fuse.

Pyramid is not the greatest brand for car audio from what I've read, because of longevity and incorrect numbers/wattage they say their products can handle and put out. But that price for two alpine subs is pretty good depending on the condition they are in and the amp is just a bonus! What model are the subs, type E S R X?

I really wouldn't skimp out on the power/ground wires imo. Get good quality wire. KnuKoncepts I think is the name has really good amp kits with quality wire and fuses I got a 4ga kit with power, ground, RCAs, fuse, terminals for under 50 I think, and its nice and beefy while really flexible. Overkill for 500w rms but left room for upgrades.
