Lock all the doors with the drivers window down, then reach in and open it. It should set the alarm off if it has one.

Having the horn honk is a simple BCM function, anyone could have turn it off. There are 4 options for what the car can do when you lock or unlock it. Be it just a honk, just flash the lights, honk and lights or just lock the doors and no honk or lights.

Not sure, I'd just try that test and see if it goes off. If not, then likely it doesnt have an alarm and I don't think it can be added on as it's a BCM function.

Look in the manual, you can program the alarm out in the BCM I think.

When I was disabling my headlight flash when locking/unlocking I think I remember seeing in the manual a way to disable the alarm by customizing it in the BCM.

I think this is it, I honestly don't know if the alarm was standard or not or how to tell if you have one besides sitting in the car locking it and open the door.

I was surpised on the things you could program.
