That's different from the Monsoon system I had in my 2005. The amp apparently functioned as the crossover for those tweeters and the ones in the front doors.
I've pretty much ditched the Monsoon. It runs the center dash speaker now. That's where I get my chimes. The rest of the speakers are driven by a Pioneer amp and a Bazooka tube sub. I can't tell you how much happier I am now with the results.

Yes and no you need that pink wire from the cd changer harness(9pin) Tried it without it and it did not work any speaker without that pink wire so those bose amps control every speaker in the car. Hooked up that pink wire to the pioneer and everything is mint now. Just finishing up the fiberglass work on the dash/hvac board then i'll post up the pics.
Douger couple more wires i need locations for and where to grab them i need the
(Parking Brake + wire) what colour would that be and would it be in the bcm harness/connector?
(reverse light + on wire) same what colour and wheres the good location for it. Its for the back up camera for the head unit.
Re: wiring diagram 97-03 stereo with bose where there few wires do?
the os1 harness and adapter keeps the crossover and fade proper functions working correctly internally which will make the sound better.
Metra also has a manual adapter for the bose system that lets you control the balance with knobs on their adapter but going to cost at least 150 plus shipping.

Aren't you using a GMOS or similar adapter? If so they're both part of the serial data stream and there'll be a wire for each.
I'd be leery of tapping into BCM outputs. But here are some workarounds you might consider:
On the internet, you can usually find a method of bypassing the parking brake lockout. Sometimes it's as simple as grounding that wire. Other times, it's more complicated.
For the reverse input, you may need to go directly to the PRNDL switch on the transmission. It's underneath the selector lever.
BTW, I powered my camera by tapping into the reverse lights circuit and mounted it centered on the bottom of the reverse/tag lamp assembly. I'm not sure how you could mount yours, and you'd still need to solve your reverse input dilemma.
I'm adverse to tapping into wires on these newer cars with serial data. I'd rather not introduce trouble if I don't have to.
Re: wiring diagram 97-03 stereo with bose where there few wires do?
No gmos for me. just the radio adapter I Don't need the gmos adapter because my car does not come with onstar or chime functions still work without it so its a basic hook up to keep my bose amps running.
Metras vss01 is the only proper working harness out there for non on star bose systems for 97-03. but thats a seperate amp for crossovers/and fades to work.
Pioneer radio requires only the 12v sources from the parking brake on to unlock some feature and the 12v on for the reverse light on which would activate my back up camera. If not i would have to activate it manually on the head unit to see reverse mode.
I probably could go right into reverse light bulb harness itself and it would accomplish the same feat but that would require running a wire all the way to the back but if the bcm main connect is right there it should be a easy tap into. under the steering wheel. same should go for the parking brake foot pedal switch i would just remove the pin and crimp the wire into the bcm harness.

You may want to double check the parking brake lockout. On my first Pioneer head unit, grounding that lead did the trick. On the Z150 head unit I have now, it involved tapping into a wire on the other connector, then grounding the two.
What year GP do you have? When I get a chance, I'll see if I can find what you're looking for. The radio wiring across those years are basically the same. The BCM harness I'm not so sure about.
Re: wiring diagram 97-03 stereo with bose where there few wires do?
The lower left dark blue wire on that harness is the wire used to splice into an axis steering wheel controller. You have to make sure you don't use a butt connector to connect them though. What I did was remove some insulation wire and then a pick tool to get the wires to seperate and then twist together. In order to get the bose amp to work with an aftermarket unit its the second harness on your right and its the pink wire that needs to be connected to the remote turn on lead which is blue and connected the same way. Hope. This helps you. Typed on my S3
