Hey all, new to the forums here. Nice community you have going on. I recently purchased a 2005 Grand Prix GXP. Working on my first mod for it and need a little input. I'm looking for a nice auxiliary adapter to work with my Android to play my music over the stock system. I have done a little research, but only really found 1 adapter that looks worth it. Only thing I don't like is that it is such an old item and is discontinued from most other stores. Here is a link to what I am looking at now.

My question to you all is do you have any other recommendations for this? What have you used or heard others using. This product should give me high quality audio right? Just looking for some comments and suggestions on what the best adapters out there are. Only requirement is that it must have a headphone jack. Since I have an Android, I can't get an adapter for an iPod. Looking forward to hearing back from you all.

i did this mod to my stock radio, cost less then 5 bucks if you have solder a iron, and shrink tubes on hand already.

    and it works.

Although this does look like a simple and fun kind of mod, I don't have a solder gun or the skills required to risk trying something like this. I feel I would fry my radio before I got it to work lol

its easy, soldering kit, a cheap one will run around 10 bucks, i got a iron and shrink tubes from harbor freight, 6 bucks for both and solder from radio shack for 5 bucks.

the wire for the aux i got from home depot, 2 bucks, they sell it by the foot. the aux port, like the how to says radio shack, 2 bucks. i took the part # in the store and just gave it to the clerk, i let them find it lol

watch some youtube vids and practice some.
