My 2004 Pontiac Grand Prix GT2 has just the plain steering wheel without audio controls. I found a few used steering wheels on ebay with the controls on the wheel and was wondering if anyone else has ever removed their original steering wheel and put one in with audio controls? Is it possible? Please help me to figure this out because the controls would be a great extra feature for me. Thanks!

you can, but you will need the clock spring with radio controls, im not sure if you radio supports the controls tho. theres another harness to the radio harness from the lower dash by the obd2 port where the air bag plug is off the clock springs plug.

so you need a few more things then just the new wheel.

Not worth it after you source all the parts. If it's a aftermarket deck just get a remote.
