Hey everyone, any advice is appreciated but if you can please include links to where i can purchase the correct parts if i dont already have them listed/linked in the thread. I kinda need this... ok, well, i want this done before my birthday on the 20th of this month.. lol..

Car: 2008 Grand Prix GXP with OnStar (which I never use..), steering wheel controls, the monsoon system, and the doodoo non navi factory radio, HUD

Not having the radio info on the HUD is not a concern.
The key "ding" is also not a concern..
OnStar and the steering wheel controls are the only two main things I would like to keep after the install for whoever happens to buy the car in the future..

Mission: install this double din.. Amazon.com: Pioneer AVH-P4400BH 2-DIN Multimedia DVD Receiver with 7" Widescreen Touch Panel Display, Built-In Bluetooth, and HD Radio™ Tuner: Car Electronics
    along with these..

Parking brake over ride.. Ordered it early by mistake, matches up to correct model linked above..

iphone cable (dont really need this but included it anyways seeing that the indash has bluetooth..)
Amazon.com: Pioneer PTPIOCDIU201S iPod/iPhone Cable For Avhp8400bh - Wired Car Kit - Retail Packaging: Cell Phones & Accessories

    Dash kit
Amazon.com : Metra 95-3527 Double DIN Installation Dash Kit for 2004-up Pontiac Grand Prix Vehicles (Black) : Vehicle Audio Video Accessories Parts : Electronics

    radio ant adapter
Amazon.com: Metra 40-GM10 GM Antenna Adapter: Car Electronics

    Steering wheel control adapter
Amazon.com: PAC SWI-JACK Steering Wheel Remote Interface: Electronics

Im a little confused on this last deal... The Axxess GMOS-04 Class II OnStar Interface for Amplified systems..
Amazon.com: Axxess GMOS-04 Class II OnStar® Interface for Amplified Systems: Car Electronics

Is the GMOS-04 part the harness i need to connect radio to car? Or does it go Car//GMOS-04//pioneer-GM radio harness//indash harness?
Due to the factory upgraded sound system..

I WILL BE USING ALL FACTORY SPEAKERS, AMP, AND WIRING..

The sound is loud enough already with the monsoon system. I just miss my navi and my mp3/ipod hook ups.

Lastly, sorry for the grammar mistakes, usually on my iphone where it corrects it all for me while i go and im too lazy to fix it.. oh well.
    Thanks for your time.

If you are going to use the Factory Monsoon amp ( which you won't like with your aftermarket headunit) then the GMOS-04 is the proper wiring harness to use to wire the radio. this will also maintain all chimes and Onstar.

That's it exactly. Everything you need to connect your new head unit to the car is on that adapter. Most of it is color for color.

If I recall...do not connect the amp turn on wire.

thanks you two, im going to go with the factory amp for now, if i dont like it then i will upgrade my amp and sub.

sidenote: my HID lows and fogs came in and i decided to grab a K&N filter since it was only $40 bucks instead of 80..
Ill try to remember to take pictures for a DIY once everything comes in and i have a few hours to install

    once again, thanks
