Half of the back lights in my climate control module are burned out. I've had the assembly out in my hands, and taken the back cover off, but I don't see how to get to the front of the PCB. Do the knobs pull off? I pulled pretty hard with no luck, and wanted to check before I broke something off.

    Thanks!

According to the parts catalog, those bulbs are not serviced separately.

I've got one burned out in my $250 control. Let me know if you figure out how to replace them without f'ing the board up.

I don't think I'll have a problem replacing the bulbs once I can get to the front of the circuit board. I'm sure I can find a bulb somewhere that will fit, just want to be sure I don't break the whole assembly trying to get it apart.

It's probably the same as radio bulb replacement. I haven't tried mine yet but I do have a dark spot on the far left side. Check the knob for hidden screw that may lock the knob onto the shaft. Then try to pull it out.

I'd experiment but I don't have a spare to play with and I like having working A/C while driving.
