    I just put a new boss head unit in my 99 grand prix gt. it lights up but no sound. what do i do? please help.

    You more thank likely did not connect the remote amp turn on lead. The cars equipped with bose use a pink wire to turn on the factory bose amp, at least for the 97-03's.
