    If you have DDM's wire harness check your inline fuse, they are not waterproof and over time cause this (see pic)
    Symptoms are delayed ignition, sometimes ignite sometimes dont, and then hid's stop working. Its not GP specific it happens to anyone with this harness. Solution? Get a waterproof fuse case and you will be golden. I got lucky and was aple to put in another fuse, I have seen some melt the entire case.

    That isn't necessarily caused from a non waterproof case. I have had similar issues happen on an amp. It just depends on the situation, but basically the fuse melts before it pops. That doesn't have to be caused by water.

    This issue is more than likely water. You can google it, alot of people have switched to waterproof cases and havent had a issue come back.

    Its more than likely not water and just a crappy fuse holder.

    this happens across the board on any brand.. i have VVME HID's with a relay harness in my SS and my fuse just melted itself as well (held strong for 3 years)... $9 later, i was back in action...
