Has anyone with an 04+ Grand Prix used higher wattage bulbs in their stock fog light housings? I have 35 watt bulbs now but they're still not all that great. I'm not necessarily going for bright fogs or I'd get HID's, but even the 35 watt bulbs don't help as much in the fog or at night as I'd like them to.

I feel like the wiring harness could take the wattage as it seems to be the same gauge as the headlight wiring, but I'm worried about melting the housings. I know that 97-03 housings can melt, and I've never seen any specifics on 04+ housings.

Drill 2 small holes in the back of the housing towards the top so heat can escape and you should be fine.

Great and easy idea, I'll probably do that and even add those little elbow grommets just to ensure water doesn't get in, thanks!
