There is alot of stock key fobs on ebay that claim will work on my 2000 GTP, my question is, Is it as simple as buying one of these and just programming it following the steps in the owners manual?

if you have a old one, the part # is on the back of it. google search that # and e bay search that #. the right one will pop up.

ive bought 2 so far from e bay, one used, one new. programming is easy.

buy another one, then program it. find your fob part # for your year car. then search for it and buy it.

my regal came with no fobs, i bought and installed 2 so far. both work, one for each set of keys.

Don't need the VIN...just search by model and year...I got one for my car ('01), and programmed it with instructions supplied by the seller. Most of the ones on Ebay say what cars they will work with.
