So as of late my 2-way Viper Remote Start Key Fob has been acting up on my 2001 Grand Prix GT. I would push the unlock button and it would unlock and the car would honk twice as normal, then a couple seconds later the car would honk once more (Not typical behavior) and then the Key Fob would double beep every 5 or so seconds for 5 times. When it beeps the light at the bottom next to the F button on the remote would flash too. Same thing if I lock the car or open the trunk. What could be causing this? I thought it was telling me the battery was dead so I bought a new one and it is still occurring. Wondering if anyone else has had these problems?

I believe it's saying a door trigger has been detected.

That's the push of lock a few seconds later honk would be a notification the one of the door triggers still shows open.

The remote flashes and beeps to notify you as well.

Assuming your viper is a remote start/alarm combo

Well..you took my low battery fun away.

Look up your model and see what the manual says.

Ok well i looked it up, it has the signs of a low battery like an extra honk after each button pushed along with sets of double beeps and the LED next to the Function light lighting up, but I bought 2 new batteries for it and they both dont fix the problem... Any other advice?

Ahh. I thought you meant the car was beeping. If after every push of a button you get a double beep and a flashing at the function led it's never a good thing.

you can try re-pairing/programming the remote to the brain but usually is a problem with the remote(s) or the actual brain itself. At the shop we would just swap it out for ya under vipers warranty but you'll have to call and get an RA number to ship it in for a fix. Usually they just send back a refurbished unit. GL.
