Do you still see the time, when the sun hits it right, or when you are driving at night? Mine doesn't display either, but that's due to the bulb being burnt out.

Sounds like a bulb. For a while I could just tap on the display and it would come back on before it eventually burned out completely.

What happened to mine is one of my solder points for the display bulb was weak. What i did was replace that contact with a new piece of metal and it has worked perfectly since.
