I was wondering can i use a 4 channel amp to power to subs? The subs are 500 rms each and the 4 channel amp can run 400x2 bridged. Also, i've heard instead of making adapters to fit 6.5 speakers in the front.....you can just take the plastic baffle out and screw the speaker to the metal part. Is that true or its too good to be true because im getting ear fatigue with 5.25 speakers smh. Thanks

Yeah you can hook the amp up. Make sure is 400 rms and not peak and a Lpf would be nice. Screwing to the metal is a horrible idea. With my 6.5's I just used the outer grill peice, flipped it upside down, screwed it to the plastic pod and then screwed the speaker to it. If anything make or have someone make a thin spacer. It's not hard at all and only takes like 2 min to make

Doesn't matter how much power your amp makes if you're using them for the sub. It really just depends on if you like the results.

First step in helping that ear fatigue is building your doors. Here's a good link...
