Im about to get 2 12" subs and i want a ported box for them. Do anyone know the specs for the trunk so i know how big of a box to put in? i was thinking about this one but it looks too big :

Amazon.com: Atrend E12Dsv B Box Series 12-Inch Dual Vented Enclosure with Shared Chamber: Car Electronics

It states that it wont fit but i dont believe them. And now for the noob question. How would i wire the subs in the box? Do i need to make my own hole to wire the subs in parallel? Thanks

i would think the dimmensions of the trunk opening are more important than the trunk itself. also would help if you put what year the car is... as far as wiring in parallel you can do that outside the box aswell

that box will fit, looks same as the one i had orignally, As with the wiring, box should have terminals on the sides or rear. Do you know the ohms of the subs? that will matter how its wired. remeber amps that aint suited for a 1 ohm load wont take it very long. Can you list the amp and sub combo your wanting to run? will help out more.

My honest opinion? Don't buy that box. It's a huge waste of money. For the same price or less you can build one that's actually spec for your subs and not tuned in the high 30's low 40's. It really isn't hard I build one. If you can't tho, it wouldn't be that much more to have someone else do it. I'm telling you now, you won't get full potential out of your subs with that box.
Also, you could measure your trunk lol
