    Hey guys,

    I have a 2004 Grand Prix GTP w/monsoon & swc... Was sold the GMOS-100...
    Head unit - Kenwood DDX319

I have it all wired up, amp works, chimes work, onstar works but no SWC..

I've tried the auto/manual instructions for setup and can't get it to work.. At one point I had something, but the controls were all the wrong buttons, tried again and lost it all.. Very fustrating.. Wondering if anyone else has ran into this and if they have any advice or help would be great... I really miss my SWC..

    Thanks

you need another $100 adapter for that too, the first adapter only works for the chimes

Here's what you may need to do, On pin A6( should be a purple wire) of the factory wiring harness ( the larger plug) you need to apply 12v signal, tap into the red wire of the aftermarket radio wire, so that there is power going to the steering wheel controls, then the GMOS-100 will be able to read the switches.

Wish I could help. It's always been a PITA unless you had a direct plug n' play swc controller. I know my alpine was that way. Most use the IR though and you need direct line of sight.

In case you want to go another way, here ya go...

Hmmm... ya I have invested about $250 into this gmos and just wish it would all work but I am reading numerous problems with the SWC especially my Gmos100-kenwood :S

Would i be able to run that adapter for SWC and the gmos for the rest without issues, seems like a long shot but haha
