and in case you're wondering, the IAD sub is not mine, it's the guy who built the enclosure's sub. used it to test fit the cutout, same basket as the fi bl 15"

Wheres the xtra batt and amp(s) fitting?? Lol. That's pretty big box for grand prix trunk... Most I've ever been able to fit in through trunk was 4.2cuft ish.. Did a 4 12 sealed set up awhile back.. 5.75cuft ish was two different shaped boxes but had same amount ain't of air space... That sounded good on EVERYTHING! Qtc was at .707.

my amp for the bl is an american bass vfl 4480 so it's tiny. that helps a bit with space. I used to have two beefy olds school mtx 2 channel amps for my mids and highs but now I just have a newer model alpine 4 channel, which isn't that big (physically) either. and no extra batt yet, hopefully by the summer...

I don't have the cut sheet. I made the design on torres calculator and it doesn't give me the sheet. my builder put the dimensions on a different calculator that gave the cut sheet

you could always type in the numbers to your calculator of choice and find out though.. 12"h 31"w 38"d inner dimensions of port= 10.5h x 6.5w" x 33L"

The 4480 is a GREAT amp!! Would u happen to have a cut sheet for that box? I would highly recommend an extra battery maybe two for that amp

yeah, I've heard it can put out some power. i was surprised at how small it is lol. you think I should get two extra batts? I was thinking 1 big batt in the trunk would be enough with the 200a alt.

and not sure if you missed my post above yours about not having the cut sheet...

edit. I could ask my builder to email me the cut sheet if you want

Yes please do that!! Would love to see and try it out... Did you have to remove any seats to get it it??

Theres a guy on caraudio.com that has a 4480 on stock 110amp alt 2 batts and says he's getting 2200 rms out of it. With your alt I would try just one battery and see if you get any dimming and check you voltage while been played also and go from there....

yes, i removed my rear seat and slid the box in through that opening. once the box is in, I can put the rear seat back in, however, I plan to leave it out

Oh, I didn't think about that. My car is a 4 door so I just moved the front seats all the way forward, and put the box in through the rear door, then slid it into the trunk

I'm liking it. The low end is much better than I expected. Trunk rattle really isn't all that bad, however i have expanding foam in all the gaps, and two layers of dampener, still rattles obviously. I'm thinking for my next build either an 18 that will work well in 6 cubes net (using 8" aero port) or 2 12's firing forward sealed off from the rear of trunk. I play a lot of decaf music now so I will be going lower with the next build, (so I can kill the songs with 25hz low notes).

Sweet. Decaf definitely gets the majority of play time in my rides. 6 cu 18? DC and sundown come to mind first. Tantric and psi come to mind as well. Also the lms ultra..... but get ready to drop some coin for that sucker.
