I have a 2000 grand prix that starts and runs without a PK 3 key. Any ideas on what could have been done to the car to allow this to happen? Also, could this be the reason that I am unable to program a keyless entry fob?
thanks

It is already bypassed i guess. do you have any details on how to verify this? Im new to the whole car security thing. also, is it possible to program a keyless entry with the security system bypassed?
On the keyless entry, check your Rpo code to see if the car was equipped. You can find the numbers on a sticker in the trunk normally.
you can look under the colum to see if the colum has been taped anywhere, if there is there is prolly a box with a spare key In it. That's how you can bypass
thank you for your info i will check under the steering column. The car did have a keyless entry that was working but it was lost. Any ideas on why the car will not go into programming mode when i follow the steps to do it?
