I installed the new setup into a ported 15" box that the asian guy at Audio Tech swore the sub would work good in, and the outside wall of the port flexes under heavy bass. I left him a voicemail and tomorrow when I go back for a REFUND, if he does not give it to me, I will make sure his future reputation suffers because of it..box was $69 btw.

...??!?!! You shoulda been a ill more educated that box is super super small for that 15!!! Would prolly sound better sealed.. You want to be around 3-3.6 ft ported for that type R.... Maybe more if you can get it to fit. Join caraudioclassifieds.org or caraudio.com
