    Hi all,

My question concerns a '97 Grand Am, programing the key fob. This was the original and just needed a battery. It's been unused for a year or more. Put in new battery, 2032. Tested it at AZone and showed it was working. Won't work on the car.
Does anyone know the procedure to program this thing? Already did the procedure found on this site to no avail.

    Can someone help?

    Paul

Got It ! Thanks to flygsxr. He said he kept it in ACC and the door open. Everything works on the key fob now. WOW so grateful!

Did you try the procedure here? http://www.grandprixforums.net/how-p...fob-53653.html

It worked on a '97 w/ the above mod. If that doesn't work, then I'm lost.

    Hope it works for you.

Yes I did, but now I think I have the wrong key fob. The FCC ID on the one I bought is AB00204T. New GM remote.
