alright ill check it out now
i have kickers now cuz they seemed to be naturally deeper when i sampled them, i like bass so i figured naturally deeper means slightly better bass. any other brands produce better bass?
Matt...I used SonicElectronics based off finding them on ebay etc and ... not only did they hook up good stuff at good prices. In talkin to them, they made suggestions to save me money as well.
Ive been happy using Alpine type r's.. Used to have memphis audio..alpines were much better

alright, yeah i was either gunna stay with kicker or go with alpine maybe kenwood. ill check the alpines out. when i saw the prices on sonicelectronix i was like HOLY FVCK THATS CHEAP haha
should i be trying component speakers or just the 2 way since i already have tweeters stock. im pretty sure my kickers are components now, they came with tweeters, i was gunna install them but they didnt fit in the cut out in the door panel lol so i kept the stock ones
Components...I left my tweeters unhooked sounded like ass with and w/o component speaks...
its surreal how cheap they are check their ebay store to sometimes prices are even cheaper.

alright will do
i dont think i can do that to my car lol. theres no mount the comes out its just the door panel and idk if i wanna drill the door panel bigger haha
im thinking these
Alpine SPS-610C (SPS610C) 6.5" 2-Way Type-S Component Speakers
thoughts?
I didn't really drill bigger. I basically heated the old crap out and helped it out...lol
That piece was screwed to the panel. Your tweeter has to be replaceable by GM. There's a way to slap that one you have in there.
idk man the aftermarket tweeter was just too big for the hole lol
you can do it man, all already have mocked up a set when i had my doors off the past weekend, there is three clips that hold them in, i just put a couple dabs hot glue around. strong no issues.
eh, strong base could undo that over time though, i would want a more permanent solution
